Case Summary

Suzanne Ianni, according to court documents, is active with the far-right group Super Happy Fun America, which advocates for "straight pride." The group also planned a parade in 2019 featuring a leader of the extremist group the Proud Boys. Ianni is also a member of Town Meeting in Natick, Mass., a local government organization, according to WBUR. Super Happy Fun America supported Donald Trump's baseless accusations of widespread voter fraud and tweeted in early January that it was sending multiple buses to "the January 6th rally in support of the President and election integrity." Ianni helped organize those buses, according to federal prosecutors, and was later photographed inside the Capitol during the rioting.

Case History

Ianni pleaded Guilty to one charge: Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building. The other charges are dismissed. Sentenced 12/2/2022 to 15 days of incarceration, 30 months of probation, 60 hours of community service, $500 restitution; $10 special assessment. On 12/14/2023 the court granted her Termination of Probation. Ianni received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
