Robin Lee Reierson came to the attention of the FBI after an online tip said he might have been at the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S Capitol. Additionally, images of a suspect the FBI flagged allegedly matched Reierson's driver's license photo. Court documents state that open source video, police body camera footage, and other photos show Reierson pushing against barriers police had set up, shoving officers, and attempting to grab a police baton. Reierson was arrested on Aug. 23, 2023, in Schiller Park, Ill.
