Case Summary
In September of 2021, a tipster reported to the FBI’s National Threat Operation Center that Peter Michael Krill, Jr., had videos on his phone from inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to court records. The tipster also shared that Krill, a resident of Sewell, N.J., operated his own company called PMK Construction. According to the FBI, open-source image shows Krill carrying an American flag and wearing camouflage pants, a helmet, and goggles inside the Capitol. In a police body camera video, he can allegedly be seen grabbing a barricade and pulling it away from a law enforcement officer, briefly allowing a group of protesters to push into officers before being pushed back behind a barricade.
Case History
Krill pleaded Guilty to the charge. Sentenced on 2/9/2024 to 9 months incarceration; 1 year term of supervised release; $100 special assessment; $2,000 in restitution. Krill received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
