Case Summary

A witness turned Paul Hodgkins into the FBI after seeing a selfie of Hodgkins from the Senate floor, which he had posted on the social media site Parler. According to court documents, another video published by The New Yorker also shows Hodgkins holding a large Trump flag and standing alongside others as they shout and pray inside the Senate chamber. In security footage from the building, Hodgkins can also be seen on the Senate floor with protective goggles around his neck and putting on what appears to be white latex gloves, according to court documents. In an interview with the FBI, Hodgkins said he traveled to Washington alone on a bus from Florida.
