Case Summary
Federal prosecutors allege that Michael Brock repeatedly pushed and struck police officers guarding the Capitol with a "four-foot-long rod." Brock was identified after the FBI released a "Be on the Lookout" image, and a confidential witness contacted the agency in June of 2021. Investigators later corroborated that witness's statement, charging documents claim, by obtaining cellphone location data regarding Brock.
Case History
Brock pleaded Not Guilty to all charges. On 1/21/2025, the court grants the government’s motion to dismiss the case with prejudice
