Surveillance footage allegedly shows McCormick entering the Senate wing at about 2:55 p.m., hand held aloft filming a video on his cellphone. The FBI obtained photos and videos from McCormick’s phone that appear to have been taken inside the Capitol, including an 11-minute clip of his alleged entry into the building and his walk through the Crypt and Hall of Columns. Court records show McCormick was arrested Nov. 18, 2021, in Orange, Calif., and he was ordered to remove firearms from his home by Nov. 20, 2021.
