Case Summary

About a year after the riot at the U.S. Capitol, a tipster contacted the FBI to tell them that they had overheard Michael Bradley bragging about his involvement in the riot and about assaulting police officers that day, court records indicate. Bradley's photograph had been on one of the FBI's “Be on the Lookout” posters, according to court records, and the FBI positively identified Bradley as the same person in the BOLO photograph after receiving the tip. The Bureau also issed a search warrant to Facebook to look at Bradley's account, and allegedly recovered a photograph with the caption "D.C. Bound. Over the hill soldiers" from the day before the riot. Bradley can also be seen in multiple photographs and videos from Jan. 6, 2021, including from a tunnel leading into the U.S. Capitol, one of the most violent places that day. Bradley can allegedly be seen swinging a baton at police officers in an attempt to hit them.
