Case Summary
Linwood Alan Robinson first came to the FBI's attention after publicly available video footage taken inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, appeared to match images of him taken from a 2019 arrest, according to court documents. The FBI called Robinson, who allegedly confirmed to the agents that it was indeed him. According to court documents, Robinson entered the building alongside his two sons, his daughter-in-law and his grandson — a minor at the time. A witness who has known the family for years confirmed the identity of all the individuals alongside him, according to court records.
Case History
Robinson pleaded Guilty to one charge: Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building. The other charges are dismissed. Sentenced on 8/3/2023 to two months incarceration; $500 restitution; $10 special assessment. Robinson received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
