Case Summary
Kimberly Wargo told FBI agents in May 2021 that she and her son Colton Wargo traveled from Ohio to Washington, D.C., to attend former President Donald Trump’s rally on Jan. 6, 2021, according to an FBI statement of facts. After the rally, they allegedly followed the crowd into the U.S. Capitol, but she said they left when police officers yelled at them, according to the statement. The FBI alleges that surveillance footage shows the pair spent about 30 minutes walking through various parts of the Capitol, with Kimberly Wargo appearing to lead Colton by the hand at times.
