Case Summary
Kayli Munn was allegedly at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, with her parents and two siblings, who are all also charged in relation to the riot, and an unidentified child who was not charged. Security footage from that day places her inside the building with the other four members of her family, according to court documents. Kayli Munn was also identified, along with some other family members, by two employees at a high school in Borger, Texas, both of whom had taught her and other Munn children. In a Jan. 6, 2021, Facebook conversation obtained by the FBI, Kayli Munn allegedly responded to the question, “How’s the March," by answering, “F***ing great! Holy s*** we were inside the f***ing capital!” Cellphone records obtained by the FBI from Verizon also place Kayli Munn inside the Capitol that day, court documents indicate.
