Case Summary
According to a criminal complaint, Joshua Wagner allegedly attended the pro-Trump rally with his friend Israel Tutrow, who is also facing charges in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, riot. Three days after the Capitol attack, Wagner identified himself to law enforcement as one of the people featured in an FBI poster. According to court documents, photographs that were circulating in the media and social media show both Wagner and Tutrow inside the Capitol during the riot. In one photo, Wagner is seen wearing glasses and a red beanie with “TRUMP” written on it in white lettering. Wagner was also identified by a witness who attended the same high school as him, according to the affidavit.
