Case Summary
Jordan Siemers of Perry, Ohio, spent about 9 minutes inside the Capitol, prosecutors say. Court documents say Siemers, dressed in a beanie, a coat, and ripped jeans, can be seen in surveillance footage entering the Capitol through the Senate Wing doors alongside Saul Llamas and Ryan Swoope. Investigators say Siemers and Llamas are in a relationship and live with Swoope, and that Swoope sprayed an orange substance at police officers. A relative of Llamas confirmed Siemers identity, prosecutors say, and her appearance in photos from the Capitol matches her driver’s license photo. Siemers was arrested in November of 2022.
Case History
Siemers pleaded Guilty to one charge: Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building. The other charges are dismissed. Sentenced on 9/11/2023 to 12 Months of Probation; 60 hours of community service; Special Assessment of $10; Restitution of $500; Fine of $1,500. Siemers received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
