Case Summary
Jeremy Rodgers allegedly used flagpole with a pro-Trump flag to attack police guarding the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Prosecutors say that Rodgers then breached the Capitol building along with other rioters, and can be seen on video saying "come on in," and shouting "USA, USA." At one point, Rodgers allegedly joined rioters attempting to break down a barricaded door to the floor of the House of Representatives. Federal investigators say they corroborated Rodgers' participation in the riot by examining cell phone and bank records, and by receiving tips from the public.
