Case Summary
Security cameras captured Daniel Harrington inside the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, for approximately forty-two minutes, according to court documents. Wearing a large blue flag with "TRUMP" written on it as a cape, Harrington made his way in and out of the Senators' Spouse's Lounge, the Rotunda, and the Speaker's suite multiple times. At one point, he was seen taking items from a desk outside the Speaker's suite; federal prosecutors allege that he pocketed scissors, a tape dispensor, a stapler, and coasters. Harrington was arrested on Feb. 6, 2024.

Sentenced on 8/19/2024 to 45 days of Incarceration; 6 months of Probation; Special Assessment fee of $35; Restitution of $500. Harrington received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
