Case Summary
On Jan. 7, 2021, Curtis Pulaski checked himself into a hospital in Washington, D.C., saying that he suffered injuries from participating in the breach of the U.S. Capitol building the day before, according to court documents. Two days later, federal agents interviewed Pulaski in his hospital room. Pulaski told them that, as he exited the Capitol, he became afraid of getting trampled by a crowd fleeing tear gas, so he attempted to jump off a wall down to ground level, injuring himself. He was arrested on Dec. 21, 2023.
Case History
Pulaski pleaded Guilty to both charges. Sentenced on 7/23/2024 to 24 months of Probation with 30 days location monitoring; $20 Special Assessment; Restitution of $500; 60 hours of community service. Pulaski received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
