Case Summary
The FBI identified Antonio Ferrigno Jr. in an Instagram photo posted by Anton Lunyk, who is also charged in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection. The photo shows Ferrigno posing inside the U.S. Capitol alongside Lunyk and another man charged in the riot, Francis Connor, court documents indicate. In text messages obtained by the FBI and sent by Ferrigno to Lunyk, Ferrigno denied being inside the Capitol. In one message, he claimed an earlier video he sent of Connor climbing out a Senate Wing window, was "air dropped" to him, court documents indicate. In another, he reportedly wrote: "I wasn't in the Capitol so idc." However, the FBI identified him in security camera footage from inside the building and in the background of a video shot by the far-right figure known as "Baked Alaska," according to court documents.
Case History
Ferrigno pleaded Guilty to one charge: Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building. The other charges are dismissed. Sentenced to 12 months Probation with 2 of the twelve months to be served in Home Confinement, a Special Assessment of $10, Restitution of $500, a $371 Fine; 60 hours of community service. Ferrigno received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
