Case Summary
“We took the building. They couldn’t stop us. And now they know we can do it again and we will f***ing do it again,” said Andrew Griswold in a video obtained by the FBI, according to court documents. “Pelosi, Schumer, all you mofos, back off, this is our country, we are willing to do whatever it takes to keep it. Don’t mess with us…We showed 'em today. We took it. They ran. And hid,” he added. A witness, who told the FBI she grew up with Griswold and saw him frequently, identified Griswold based on multiple images and footage taken outside and inside the Capitol building, including the Senate Chamber.

Griswold pleaded Guilty to the single charge. Sentenced 7/13/22 to 75 days incarceration; two years of supervised release, $2,000 restitution; $100 special assessment. Griswold received a full pardon on January 20, 2025
